Orsiera Rocciavrè Natural Park - Cottian Alps Parks
Since 1 January 2012 the Natural Parks of the Lakes of Avigliana, Orsiera Rocciavrè, Gran Bosco di Salbertrand and Val Troncea have been unified in the Management Body of the Protected Areas of the Cottian Alps, based in Salbertrand, at the former Gran Natural Park Woods.
The Orsiera Rocciavrè park extends for over 11,000 hectares over a large mountainous area that includes part of the upper Val Sangone and part of the ridge that separates the Susa Valley from the Chisone Valley.
The municipalities affected are: Bussoleno, Chianocco, Mattie, Meana di Susa, San Giorio di Susa, Susa, Villar Focchiardo in the Susa Valley, Coazze in the Sangone Valley, Fenestrelle, Roreto Chisone and Usseaux in the Chisone Valley.
